dethroned Posts: -285 Group: Administrator Member #232 Joined: January 25, 2006	Almighty Jan 29 2010, 12:13 AM Chekov just says this "At 2200 hours telemetry dectected an anomonly in the neutral zone what appeared to ne a lightning storm in space soon after starfleet recieved a distress call from the Vulcan high comand that their planet was experiencing dificulty blah blah blah" At no time does he say that the lightning storm was anywhere near Vulcan and the the thing is the storm that was reported was the one Spock came through day 1 - uhura intercepts transmission from Klingons day 2 - kirk beats Kobayashi Maru day 3 (let's assume that only one day passes between his test and the hearing) - this is the day that the alert comes from Vulcan So whatever "2200 hours" that chekov was talking about, it couldn't have been the same day or "soon after". It had to be a minimum of 2 days difference.
