officially old

Well when you add the autograph and pictures it's like $250 and if Stewart is the only trek star in attendance i'd have to say that was a ripoff

So basically it's $300 for two people, just for the show, plus another $100.00 for the autograph. That does sound pretty pricey, unless the show is really good. Do they entertain you at the conventions or is it mostly just question and answer sessions? At this point I've read so many interviews and seen so many convention videos, I don't think I have any questions. What more could there be to ask? Maybe, How does he feel about the new movie??

My question would be what else goes on the rest of the time he is not on stage?... At most he may do 2 hours... are there any more guest?... Like Joy said will there be entertainment?

That is a lot of money

Wise words from the Buddha

Their time at Star Trek is over (presumably), so they have to make their money somehow, so they're cashing-in on the fandom.

This is also true for most (if not all) tv/movie stars.

I've asked my self for a long time if I ever became famous would I sell my autograph... I wouldn't probably do it while I was well off... but if I were not working for a long time I might... Like if I got a gig that got me a little notoriety but not much money... as broke as I am it would be a way out...

But William Shatner and Patrick Stewart don't need the money...
But I guess that can't do it for free because that would piss off the rest of the people there who need the money...

I once saw Val Kilmer signing autographs at a comic convention and giving the money to charity... which I think is great...

I've never heard of non sci fi actors selling their autographs... Does that happen?

I act up all the time, and I never sell my autographs.

I just usually leave it on Heather's chin.

Oh, you're just making that up. Her chin can only fit you're initials at best! :p

Now her boobs on the other hand.....
