Anyone else upgraded?

I must say it looks very good and seems quicker and easier to find commonly used stuff like documents and music

I've only had it since last night and the upgrade took around 3 hours to complete so i havent explored all of it yet

Looks good but

No problems so far

When you upgrade it gives you a list of any compatability issues

The only problem i have was with stuff i don't even use but i followed the recomendations and removed before and reinstalled after the updrade.

No files seem missing and everything works

One thing that is really cool for boards use is the Snipping tool

Basically you just drag a curser accross the screen and copy any part of a webpage to documents

Quicker than a screencap but does the same thing

No need for explanation
I have to say that I am in no way a Vista fan, and there was nothing but trouble with the kid's laptop running it, but after a fresh install and and properly updated with service packs and updates, it really started to run pretty smooth with a lot less headache, but there are still issues.

I do attribute this most likely to a faulty driver, but I cant seem to find a better one - the issue is that the laptop intermittently loses not only its wireless connection, but also its ability to find wireless networks. After a reboot, everything is fine again.

The only other problem is the multiple machines in the home network all run different operating systems and that makes some problems for some of the shared resources across the network that used to work smooth and seamless when they were all on the same OS.

I really dont particularly care for the hiding and aliasing of Vista folder locations for stuff like pictures and documents and whatnot

Well i didn't want to get a new computer if it had Vista but i lived with it for few months

The upgrade is well worth it and fixes alot of the things i has issue with and has a few little niceties like the sticky notes and window preview that shows all of the open windows in IE side by side

I like it

And i can find my docs and pictures with one click

All about the fish tacos
All my computers still run with XP. I don't have any intention of upgrading unless I'm forced to.

Well you can't upgrade from XP to 7 so you'd have to do a fresh install.

But if any of you guy's have Vista and want to upgrade then it's well worth it.
