All my computers still run with XP. I don't have any intention of upgrading unless I'm forced to.
XP will no longer be supported in a year and a half.

I got vista, and so far am happy with it, it does what I want it to do. Mebbe I'lk change to 7 one day.

Denny, I got a wifi system too, and had the same connection probs, but I dolved it by using an ethernet cable to connect to the modem. Yeah I know, why have wifi if we use cables, but it works.

They already cut off a lot of support for XP. Kind of ticks me off since my netbook runs on that OS.

One thing that is really cool for boards use is the Snipping tool

Basically you just drag a curser accross the screen and copy any part of a webpage to documents

Quicker than a screencap but does the same thing
Another fun thing about the snipping tool is that you can highlight sections of your cnipped image, make notes, send it off as an email, etc...

I bought a laptop last night running Windows 7 and I'm enjoying it. I have an upgrade disc coming in soon for a desktop I purchased around July.

As noted above I bought a laptop that uses Windows 7 a couple of weeks ago. Well, today I received the Windows 7 upgrade disc for a Quad-Core desktop that I purchased in July and I've forgotten how long this whole process takes. I normally do my system back ups at the end of the month but since the disc came in today I figured I'd go ahead and back everything up before upgrading. The time that it takes to do this plus the 2-3 hours it will take to install Windows 7 = a killed afternoon. I could probably sell the desktop and buy a new one with Windows 7 in less time than this.

Never again!

I have an older desktop that I bought in 2008 and I'm just going to leave it on Vista Premium.
